When you consume a potion, you are left with an empty flask that you can sell at the Healer's Hut or General Store. Recycling.

(Actually, Robin Hood probably never existed. There definitely were outlaws in England during Richard the Lionheart's time (and much earlier, going back to at least William the Conqueror), but they all signed their names in court documents as 'Hobbe Hod' or 'Robbe Hud' and the like. Their cases became conflated together in people's imaginations, and eventually they all became part of Robin Hood's story).
