Huzzah!!! For years and bloody years I was stuck on Harry and his 9-men Morris. Well, after consulting Sierra Chest, I finally beat him and got his amethyst! That allowed me to move ahead in this game and save the widow's three sons. Hurrah and huzzah!

I'm still on day 7, but I'll get there yet ...

You could have asked here for a hint too, ya know?

Hmm. I wouldn't have got things like the 9-men Morris (and the gem riddle, for that matter) through hints. I have the manual, and I tried to figure out the gem riddle maybe 7 or 8 times yesterday -- but ... the last gem always tripped me up.

I couldn't figure it out until I looked it up on Sierra Chest. Now I feel stupid.

Nah. I wanted to try and figure things out for myself. Then after 8 or 9 times of not figuring it out and getting it wrong, I thought "Forget it" and looked it up on Sierra Chest.

I didn't even know this place existed until after I finally moved past that stupid 9-men Morris game. Man that felt good. Took me years to get past that.

Question: can anyone help me to catch the stupid stupid pixie with the stupid stupid net?

I know I need to, but he's always too quick and Robin's always throwing the net AFTER the pixie has gone. Spoilers welcome

I couldn't recall how to bypass the pixie, but from what I see you need to throw the net in FRONT of where the pixie is/appears.

Now I'm stuck at the Tournament. I can fire one arrow, but after that, it doesn't matter where I click ... my bow does nothing.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Never mind my previous post -- I have won the Archery Tournament, and also (FINALLY, 20+ years after I started playing this game), I won the game!!! Yay!

I also tried out various strategies during the battle to seize the money to free King Richard. In one attempt, I had 15,300 marks at the end of the game, and became a Forester of Sherwood Forest (but didn't get to marry Marian); in the next attempt, I had 65,300 marks at the end of the game, became the Earl of Huntingdon, and did get to marry Marian. Huzzah!!!
