As for the crowdfunding ... I see people paid Hasbro over 3 times what they (Hasbro) were hoping for. I agree with you - it doesn't cost $3m+ to create cardboard boards, paper cards, and plastic figurines.

Well I think it has to do with - this is obviously intended to catch a retro vibe - so a crowdfunding to gauge interest was probably a safe business decision.

Fair enough. *nods* Then again ... gauging interest? Sorry, I'm not sure how crowdfunding works. I thought crowdfunding was meant for people who have good ideas but not much money, so they crowdfund to get a prototype going and get their idea off the ground? Or am I wrong?

As for gauging interest ... I've no idea what crowdfunding has to do with polling people, sorry. Why not - say - run a poll? I'm confused.

As for the game itself, if you're interested: it's a bit like running a D&D game, but (obviously) MUCH simpler and shorter. I remember one or two playthroughs ... I might even have the old board game lying around somewhere in my parents' place. Hmm! I'm seeing them tomorrow, so I might hunt for it if I can. The real question is: is it still where I think it is?
